About Highland Building and Supply
Built in the Midwest. Built to last.
Our story
Blake leads Highland Building and Supply with a focus on engineering, customer experience, and the long-term reputation of every build. Drawing on years of hands-on post-frame experience across the Midwest, Blake personally reviews every project quote before it goes out the door — making sure the engineering matches the parcel, the materials match the customer's budget, and the schedule matches what Highland crews can actually deliver. If you call Highland and ask hard questions, Blake is the one answering them.

What we believe
Engineered, not stocked
Every Highland build is engineered to your county's snow load, frost depth, and design wind speed. Stamped by a P.E. licensed in your state — not a national template.
Turn-key — gravel pad to electrical
One contract for the whole build: gravel driveway, site prep, concrete, post-frame, doors, insulation, electrical, heat. Highland crews handle every step in-house or with our trusted partners — no subcontracted handoffs that go cold mid-project.
Honest paperwork
Itemized written quotes within one business day. No surprise charges, no estimate-versus-final drift. The number you sign is the number you pay.
Built to outlast you
A barn isn't a tool — it's a multi-decade decision. We build accordingly, and back it with a written, transferable structural warranty.
Wondering why we lead with post-frame construction at all? Read the honest comparison of post-frame vs. steel vs. stick-built.
